Families With Aloha is designed as a special family day and experience while also providing tools to further deepen parent-child and family bonds and maintain an increasingly happy family life, through teenage years and beyond.

For children and teens, the program provides the knowledge and skill set to thrive through school, college and young adulthood, to achieve their highest potential. It also provides tools to hold onto through the challenging times we all have; all while further strengthening parent-child relationships within a core understanding of how to develop true and optimal happiness.

The program and morning or day’s itinerary can be arranged at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel; at the property you are staying; at Makani Ua Ranch, as an upcountry adventure; or, brought to you where you are in your home or home town.

The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel would include: your own room for the day; a private veranda overlooking the beach and bay for the program and private dinner; access to all beach and pool activities, including stand-up paddleboards, snorkeling gear, lawn chairs and towels; and/or, optional tee time on the challenging Robert Trent Jones Sr. golf course or spa bookings when the new spa opens.

At Makani Ua Ranch, the program can be designed around a special private luʻau dinner, with spectacular views of the island and coastline. Or, additionally, the day can be arranged to include horseback riding and/or a helicopter tour and arrival.

The day or evening dinner can be arranged at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel or Makani Ua Ranch with or without the Begin With Aloha program.
